What We Need in The Sims
Remember how The Sims 4 release was not that great?
Well, in this post we’ll take a look at how The Sims 5 could prevent the downfalls The Sims 4 had, right from the start! There are some things and options simmers love and want in their The Sims game, so EA should try to listen and actually include them on the release date!
Pools in The Sims 5
Who doesn’t love pools?! They’re not just a fun activity for the sims but also add so much to the game and when you are building a house! Builders definitely need pools, ponds and any additional water elements they can get to create either a classic luxury house or an ultra sleek and modern home for the sims!
Of course, it would be amazing to see pool slides, floaties and other fun pool related items that could be functional in The Sims 5!
More realistic Sims in The Sims 5
A lot of simmers are tired of the clay sims – the maxis match hair, clothes or horrible makeup in The Sims 4.
Alpha hair would look amazing but even less shiny clay hair with a more realistic texture would make a difference.
Look how much better Bella Goth looks with alpha custom content than without! EA should really hire some good CC artists to improve the CAS for The Sims 5.
Also, the sims animations could be less forced and more relaxed, like in The Sims 3.
Better kitchens
Cooking is a part of most sims’ life, so why not have better kitchens in The Sims 5? That could include stylish color swatches, less cartoon-y looking objects, functional yet separate stove tops and oven.
And let’s not leave out the clutter or kitchen decor objects out of this. Utensils, pans, fake food, mugs and towels add so much to the space.
We need toddlers in The Sims 5 from the get-go!
C’mon, toddlers are a part of life! And since The Sims 5 is a life simulation game, we need to see toddlers in the new game as well. It is not fun to skip a part of the growing up process, plus it’s so much fun to use toddler room decor objects and help them learn new skills that will shape them as they grow up.
Functional Apartments
Let’s not wait for an expansion pack to add apartments in The Sims 5, please! Yes, EA could make an EP with a new city world to play in, and add beautiful buildings, etc. But we want apartments in The Sims 5 base game. Changing windows, doors is a must to make the apartment building match simmer’s needs.
Cars in The Sims 5
Ok, we had cars in The Sims 2, The Sims 3… but in The Sims 4 all we got were these low poly decor items! Simmers want functional cars in The Sims 5. If the world in The Sims 5 will not be open, meaning that you can’t really follow your sim around everywhere, it would be fun to have cars function as they did in The Sims 2! At least your sim could own a car and drive for a short period before the loading screen appeared. Plus, EA should really level up their design skills and make cars in The Sims 5 realistic, and with multiple options to choose from.
What do you want for The Sims 5?
Realistic sims and houses or maxis match things? Do want apartments, toddlers and pools in The Sims 5 base game or are you willing to wait?
